Spiritual And Material Blessing

I don’t like to call my decision to follow Jesus or my baptism as an act of conversion or changing religion, because that is not what baptism or giving your life to Jesus really is. When God created Man (Gen1:27), He did not divide mankind into any religion or caste or any denomination. The first man on earth “Adam” was created by God in His own image (Gen1:26) out of His love. God gave him the rights and privileges on earth (Gen1:28-30) , but Adam lost that authority and also his relationship with God his Father because of his sin. (Gen3:1-6). I was in the same state of sin and I did not know my Father in Heaven and my Creator (Is 6:9-10, Mt 13:13-15) until I received Jesus into my life.

Life Changed Forever

As a teenager, I found myself attending a youth festival that was different from other youth festivals in that it was a prayer gathering. I already had everything I wished for – friends, family, education and seemingly heading in the right direction - what could God offer that I would even be remotely interested in? Yet, I found myself drawn to the Bible being preached especially when a speaker quoted this verse from John 10:10, Jesus speaks to the people “Behold I have come to give you life and life in all His fullness”.

In His Time

The word of God is clear, ‘To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven’. We like to do things when we think it is the right time and we like to see things finished when we think it is time. We have our own season and time for everything under heaven but God has His! We may be in a hurry but God is not and never will be. We get disappointed when things don’t work out within our time frame, but we need to understand that nothing is in our hands and God is not compelled to move within our time frame. He is God. He never changes. He will not change His time because we have our time limit. He will not change even if we fast and pray! He may let us have some things if we push too much for it, but that will only cause us trouble, pain and destruction. Ecclesiastes 3 :1-8, 11 says,

A Better Future And More

GOD IS OUR FATHER and He created us that we may love Him, have a relationship with Him and enjoy our lives to the full. True joy and happiness come by being connected with God the right way. But instead, we are SEPARATED and CUT OFF from Him because WE HAVE SINNED - we do not give God the first place in our lives, dishonor our parents, lie, cheat, steal, lust with our eyes, use bad language, curse, hate certain people and have unforgiveness towards certain others…… and so much more. Many times because of this we go through a lot of pain, suffering, sickness, and cannot really enjoy this life and will be surely separated from God forever in hell.

Rich Relationship

Real life does not consist in the abundance of our wealth and possessions. It is not about how rich we are, how many friends we have, our social status, what car we own, the good clothes we wear, how famous we are or anything of that sort. All of this will pass away once we die. These all may be needed for this life but there is something more important – something that lasts for eternity: A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Finding True And Lasting Satisfaction

Is that the question you are asking yourself?

After achieving all that you wanted to achieve, after reaching the place and position in your life that you wanted to reach, after having the money you always wanted to have, after having a name and a fair amount of fame in your life, after having tried all that you wanted to try to make your life happier – are you still unsatisfied? Or maybe you have achieved nothing in life and feel you are a 'nobody' in this life and so are unsatisfied. In pursuit of satisfaction you may have tried everything possible - being with family, hanging out for endless hours with friends, movies, drinking, smoking, drugs, pornography and maybe even sex! But you still feel an emptiness that nothing can fill, a longing no one can satisfy. You feel you are still missing something.

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy,That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.(Is 59 :1-2)

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
